I took a detour to The Eden Project. Upon arrival I explained what I’m doing and asked for free admission-to which they said yes, making the long uphill climb there worth it. Set in an old mine pit in Cornwall, they now grow plant species from around the world inside their biospheres (pictured), including bananas, cacao and rubber. I like the way in which they teach visitors where their consumer goods actually come from. Imagine how the world might be if everybody considered that.
